All Glass New iPhone Release !!!

All glass New iPhone Apple

"Apple's getting desperate to create a phone that brakes easy like the old glass ones, so people must buy newer ones bc their stock went down since the iphone 6. Why not try making a better product rather than a more breakable one? The new ipods suck compared the the nano 7! Keep making the iphones in plastic, so they're lighter & don't shatter? How bout making a new product? All glass New iPhone? Hire an innovator rather than dividing profit among lazy CEOs who can't create. Steve Jobs should be replaced with giving smart new people jobs who can make apple cutting edge tech again! If you don't some other company like Microsoft will. Don't be like Trump & let your CEOs bankrupt the company & leave with golden parachutes, "Cause that's what I do...I'm a business man!"

Last month the world’s most accurate Apple tipster revealed the company is working on a radical ‘all glass’ new iPhone. The news was met with cynicism and excitement in equal measure, and now a major Apple supplier has confirmed it…
Speaking at its annual shareholder meeting Allen Horng, chairman and chief executive of long time iPhone chassis maker Catcher Technology, said Apple will make its 2017 iPhone using a glass casing.

Breaking down the radical shift, Horng said using a glass chassis would prove expensive and that Catcher requires “advanced processing technology” to pull it off. He also explained that the chassis would need to be reinforced by a metal frame.

The move is expected to go far beyond Apple’s previous glass backed iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S and rival Samsung’s recent Galaxy S and Note lines by using a single piece of glass for the whole exterior. Pull that off and Apple would certainly have a smartphone that looked like no other.

But it isn’t all good news.

Horng said that "As far as I know, only one [iPhone] model will adopt glass casing next year" and, given the range’s pricing, that would suggest the iPhone 8 Plus (Apple is expected to skip the iPhone 7S moniker for the iPhone’s 10th anniversary) or even the hotly rumoured iPhone Pro.

On top of this the iPhone 8 is tipped to transition to an OLED like many of its rivals, and feature an ‘Edgeless Display’ that eliminates the phone’s famously large top of bottom (chin and forehead) bezels.

All of which adds up to a device which sounds like it will more than makeup for the increasingly controversial omissions and depressingly familiar design of the upcoming iPhone 7

Attention First World Countries: A leak from Apple has confirmed the company is creating a phone with all-glass casing, because iPhones don't break easily enough already.

This news comes after a tipster teased the announcement last month, telling Forbes that the redesign would do away with the "famed aluminium chassis and in its place will be the return of an all-glass enclosure."

Now, according to Yahoo, a key supplier to the company, Allen Horng, corroborated the rumor at a shareholder's meeting. From their report: "Breaking down the radical shift, Horng said using a glass chassis would prove expensive and that Catcher requires 'advanced processing technology' to pull it off. He also explained that the chassis would need to be reinforced by a metal frame."

So, yeah, not totally "all-glass," but definitely the kind of thing that will need a really good case so it doesn't break the second you even touch it. Prices haven't been released yet, but we are confident in assuming it will be crazy expensive, and that everyone will still buy it anyway.

Taking a look back at another week of news from Cupertino, this week’s Apple Loop includes more details on the glass-covered iPhone 8, the latest iPhone 7 leaks, iOS 10′s new features, Tim Cook taking about high iPhone prices, an iPhone 6 prototype appearing on Ebay, the AI strategy that could weaken Apple, an OLED keyboard for the MacBook Pro, and Eric Schmidt using an iPhone.

Apple Loop is here to remind you of a few of the very many discussions that have happened around Apple over the last seven days (and you can read the weekly digest of Android news here on Forbes).

Looking Through The Glass iPhone 8 Rumors

More details on the all-glass iPhone are coming out, this time from Allen Horng. He is the CEO of Catcher Technology (who supply the chassis for the iPhone) and talked about the “advanced processing technology” the company will be using in 2017′s iPhone:

[...Allen Horng] said Apple will make its 2017 iPhone using a glass casing. Breaking down the radical shift, Horng said using a glass chassis would prove expensive and that Catcher requires “advanced processing technology” to pull it off. He also explained that the chassis would need to be reinforced by a metal frame.

Horng said that “As far as I know, only one [iPhone] model will adopt glass casing next year” and, given the range’s pricing, that would suggest the iPhone 8 Plus (Apple is expected to skip the iPhone 7S moniker for the iPhone’s 10th anniversary) or even the hotly rumoured iPhone Pro.

An Apple supplier appears to have confirmed rumours that the company is working on an all-glass version of its iconic iPhone, for release in 2017.

Allen Horng, chairman and chief executive of Catcher Technology, which currently manufactures the aluminium body of Apple's iPhones, told Asian media that the glass iPhone would be expensive to create.

"Glass casing still needs a durable metal frame which requires advanced processing technology and would not be cheaper than the current model," he said at Catcher Technology's annual shareholder meeting.

However, he also said that "only one model" of the iPhone would adopt glass casing next year, suggesting Apple may be planning to offer multiple variants of the device.

While the company is scheduled to launch its iPhone 7 later this year, that model is expected to look very similar to the iPhone 6 and 6s.

Apple is saving its major design overhaul for the so-called iPhone 8 in 2017 - perhaps intended to coincide with the iPhone's 10th anniversary.

The news comes after KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has a track record of leaking accurate information on Apple products, published a report last month claiming the American tech firm will completely redesign the iPhone in 2017.

Instead of the aluminium casing used in the iPhone 6 and 6s , Apple will move to an all-glass enclosure. This will be complemented by a new cutting-edge curved OLED display, supplied by Samsung.

This wouldn't be the first time Apple has used glass in its iPhones. The iPhone 4 and 4s had glass front and back panels, with a stainless steel band sandwiched between the two.

However, these phones were plagued by durability issues, with many customers claiming their phones cracked too easily when dropped .

Kuo noted that some investors are concerned that glass casing would be too heavy or fail a drop test, but said he believes that a return to glass casing will not be problematic for Apple.

"Apple already uses glass casing for iPhone 4/ 4S, and non-Apple brands have also been using glass casings. We therefore think a drop test will not be problematic for glass casing," he wrote in his report, according to MacRumours .

"A glass casing may be slightly heavier than an aluminum one of the same thickness, but the difference is so small that the use of the thinner and lighter AMOLED panel will compensate for that.
